Happy December & Happy Monday! I thought I would share a green detox smoothie to get you in the mood for all things green. December is a busy month for everyone, with tons of gatherings with friends and family. Green detox smoothie is a good way to detox and gets some healthy greens in if you are feeling a little “sluggish”! We feel like a smoothie isn’t complete without a few handfuls of raw fruits and vegetables. We would suggest putting tons of greens in every smoothie! In our opinion, it’s a great way to get nutrients and energy into your day without having to sit and eat a whole salad. And since salads for breakfast are no one’s thing, let’s opt for this fresh green smoothie!
½ green apple, ½ pear, ½ medium-sized avocado, 2 cups spinach (1 serving)
How to prepare:
Cut all of the ingredients and place them into a blender. Blend and serve!
